How a day in Xodos City goes

  1. 1

    Live the Lagos life

Pick your commute: danfo, okada or ride-hail. Answer Mama's calls, dodge your landlord, rest before you burn out. NEPA will take light.

  2. 2

    Build your hustle

Run a buka, dispatch, fashion label, POS, solar or tech startup in the Yaba business district. Register with CAC, get audited, raise from angels.

  3. 3

    Trade and list

Ride to NGX Tower, trade 60 fictional companies through Xodos, then take your company public at the Listing Hall and ring the bell.

Meet the people

Tife

Runs a buka in Surulere. Eyeing the Growth Board.

Dayo

Yaba techie. Day-trades between standups.

Mama Ngozi

Ajo queen. Collects dividends like rent.

Chuka

Back from London. Learning NGX before going real.

Characters are fictional. Every company in the game is invented, except the clearly labelled Dangote IPO event.

Live event

Dangote Refinery IPO Mode

Walk into the Listing Hall and practise the biggest offer in Nigerian market history: read the prospectus, apply through Xodos, and see how oversubscription and pro-rata allotment work. Real facts are dated and sourced; everything simulated is labelled.

Try IPO Mode

Learn by playing

  • • Quests that each teach one idea: limit orders, T+1 settlement, dividends, IPOs.
  • • Bisi from Xodos explains every number the first time it matters.
  • • A smooth-talking "investment club" to fall for safely, so you never fall for a real one.
  • • English or Pidgin, and £/$/C$ hints if you're playing from abroad.

Fair play

  • • Virtual money only. No payments, no loot boxes, no pay-to-win.
  • • Levels unlock outfits, not advantages.
  • • Weekly leagues with beginner brackets and anti-exploit rules.
  • • Runs on mid-range Android phones on 3G, with a low-data mode.
