What this game is
Xodos Market Life is a free educational simulation. Every naira in the game is virtual and has no cash value. You can't buy game money, cash it out, or win prizes of real value.
The game does not execute real orders and is not a regulated investment activity. Nothing in it is investment, tax or legal advice, and game results do not predict real markets. All companies are fictional except the clearly labelled Dangote Refinery IPO event, which uses publicly reported offer terms as dated facts; everything simulated about it is labelled "Simulation".
The game refers to the Nigerian Exchange (NGX), SEC Nigeria, CSCS and other bodies only to explain how the real market works. None of them, and no company mentioned, endorses or operates this game.
Real investing is only available through Xodos' licensed brokerage partner on the live Xodos platform. Real investments can go down as well as up, and you can lose money. Before you deal with any investment firm in Nigeria, check that it is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission at sec.gov.ng.
